A Sale at Your Door
RSA 361-B:2 — cancel any time before midnight of the third business day
At a home solicitation sale, the seller gives the buyer a completed receipt and a copy of the contract with the seller's name and address and the date, and, near the buyer's signature in boldface type, this statement: "ANY BUYER MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION ANY TIME PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT OF THE THIRD BUSINESS DAY AFTER THE DATE OF THIS TRANSACTION."
Who handles this in New Hampshire: legal aid programs, lawyer referral and the state offices, listed in the New Hampshire directory.
The buyer may cancel by written notice to the seller, as the section provides. A violation of the chapter is an unfair or deceptive act under the consumer protection act.
