WHO RUNS THIS

MyRightz is run by a private citizen. Not a law firm, not a lawyer, and not a government office. It exists so that everyday people can learn what the law actually says, in plain words, and find their own answers if they are willing to put in the reading.

WHY IT CAN BE CHECKED

Nothing here has to be taken on faith. Every line names the law it comes from, and the link opens the official text so a reader can hold the two side by side. When a statute changes, the guide is checked against the new wording rather than left to drift.

WHAT IT IS NOT

It is not legal advice, and it never tells anyone what to do. It states what the law says. Applying the law to one person’s situation is the work of a licensed attorney or a legal aid office, and the directory lists the offices and who each one serves.

WHAT IT COSTS

Reading is free, with no account. The one part that costs money every time it runs is Ask, the question tool, and a plan raises its limits; the pricing page says exactly what is free and what is not. Anything added later for people in the middle of a case will be held to the same rule as everything else here: every line cited to its source.

YOU CAN ALWAYS REACH IT

There is more than one way in, none of them needs an account, and every one reaches the person who runs the site.

And a search that finds nothing is counted without anything about who made it, so the pages people look for and cannot find are the list of what gets written next. The site cannot answer questions about a person’s own case, and a message does not create a lawyer relationship.
