After a Crash
RSA 264:25 — stop at once and exchange names, license, insurance and registration
A driver who knows or should have known they were just in a crash that caused death, injury or property damage stops immediately at the scene.
Who handles this in New Hampshire: New Hampshire Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service; and legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the New Hampshire directory.
The driver gives the other drivers or owners, anyone injured and the owner of damaged property their name and address, license number, insurance provider and policy information if any, the vehicle's registration number, and the name and address of each occupant, as the section sets out where that cannot be done at the scene.
