Drug Paraphernalia
Ala. Code § 13A-12-260 — using or possessing it is a Class A misdemeanor; fentanyl test strips are allowed
Drug paraphernalia is any equipment, product or material used, intended or designed to grow, make, prepare, test, package, store, hide, or take a controlled substance unlawfully, from scales and baggies to pipes and syringes. A court weighs how an object was used, its owner's prior drug convictions, and how near it was to a violation or a drug.
