Refund policy
YOUR MONEY BACK, PLAINLY
Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days. There is a button for it on your account page, and no reason is needed for Pro.
Pro
Refunded within 14 days of any charge. No reason needed.
A case
Refunded in full within 14 days of paying, while no question has been asked and no paper read in it.
How to get a refund
Open your account page
Sign in and go to Account.
Press Request a refund
For Pro it is on your plan card, at the top. For a case it is on the case, under Your cases, for the 14 days after you paid.
Send the request
Add a note if you like; it is not needed. The owner of MyRightz gets a formal request with your username, the charge and the date you paid, and the page tells you straight away whether the terms cover it.
The money goes back to your card
The refund is made through Stripe to the card or wallet you paid with, and you hear back at your account’s email address within two business days. Stripe says a refund usually shows on a statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the bank.
No account any more, or the button will not work? Write to support@myrightz.com from the address you paid with, or use the contact page under Account or billing. A written request counts the same as the button.
What is covered
| You bought | Refunded when |
|---|---|
| Pro, $9.99 a month or $79 a year | You ask within 14 days of the charge. No reason needed. Each renewal is a new charge with its own 14 days. |
| A case, $9.99 once | You ask within 14 days of paying, and no question has been asked and no paper read in it yet. A refunded case closes when the refund is made. |
| Pro's free days | Nothing to refund: nothing is charged during them. Cancel before they end and you are never charged at all. |
| Anything after the first fourteen days | Not refunded by default, because that time was provided. If something went wrong on our side, write anyway and it will be sorted out. |
| Merch from the shop | Orders are paid for and shipped through the shop Printful runs for MyRightz, and a misprint, damage or a wrong item is handled under Printful's own returns policy. Write to us as well. |
How to cancel
Pro: press Cancel Pro on your account page. It opens Stripe’s own cancel screen; confirm there and it is done. No email to anybody.
Cancelling stops the next charge. Pro keeps working to the end of the time already paid for, and your account page shows that date.
A case is one payment for 90 days and never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
Cancelling does not refund a charge by itself. To have the latest charge back too, press Request a refund as well.
How payments work
- Who you pay
- MyRightz, run by a private citizen. The charge reads MYRIGHTZ on your card statement.
- Who handles your card
- Stripe. You type your card, or use Apple Pay or Google Pay, on Stripe's own checkout page. This site never sees or stores your card number.
- Where the money goes
- Stripe takes the payment and pays it out to MyRightz, less Stripe's fee. A refund comes back out of it the same way, to the card you paid with.
- Your receipt
- Stripe emails one when you pay. Every receipt and invoice is also under Receipts and billing on your account page.
- What renews
- Pro renews by itself each month or year until you cancel. A case never renews and nothing more is charged for it.
- Price changes
- If the price of a plan you are on changes, you are told by email before it takes effect, and can cancel before it does.
The companies behind a payment
Stripe
Takes the payment, holds the card, sends the receipt, runs the billing page where Pro is cancelled, and makes every refund.
Printful
Runs the merch shop: the order, its payment, printing and shipping all happen on Printful's own store.
Supabase
Keeps your account, which plan you are on and each case, so the account page can show them.
Resend
Sends the site's emails, among them the refund request that reaches the owner.
Everything each of them receives is listed on What this site records, and the binding words of all of this are in the terms of use, under Cancelling, and refunds.
