Who handles this in Alaska: Alaska Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service; and legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Alaska directory.
For people 21 or older, each of those is lawful under state and local law, and no basis for seizing or forfeiting anything.
Consuming marijuana in public is a violation with a fine of up to $100.
What the law leaves alone. The marijuana law does not make an employer allow marijuana at work, does not allow driving under its influence, does not allow giving any to someone under 21, and does not stop a property owner from banning it on their property.
