Handing Over A Firearm

A.R.S. 13-3109 — selling or giving a firearm to a minor without written parental consent is a class 6 felony

To a minor. A person who sells or gives a firearm or ammunition to a minor without the written consent of the minor's parent or legal guardian is guilty of a class 6 felony.

Courses and hunting. Firearms safety instructors, hunter safety instructors and competition coaches may make temporary transfers when the parent or guardian has consented to the activity, and an adult accompanying minors hunting or target shooting may do so with that consent.

No registration. The section says that nothing in it requires reporting sales of firearms, or registration of firearms or firearms sales.
