The Last Hundred Feet
C.R.S. 42-4-903 — a turn signal for the last one hundred feet in town, and two hundred feet elsewhere
A signal of intention to turn right or left is given continuously during not less than the last one hundred feet traveled before turning in urban or metropolitan areas, and for at least two hundred feet on all other highways.
Who handles this in Colorado: legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Colorado directory.
No one stops or suddenly slows without first giving an appropriate signal to the driver behind where there is the opportunity. Turn signals are used to turn, change lanes or pull out from parking, and are not flashed as a courtesy or a do pass signal.
