Pulling Over for a Siren
21 Del. C. § 4134 — pull to the right for an emergency vehicle, and move over or slow down by 20 for one stopped
When an emergency vehicle using its signals approaches, every other driver yields, pulls as close as possible to the right edge or curb, clear of intersections, and waits until it has passed.
A stopped vehicle with flashing lights. Approaching a stopped emergency vehicle, highway department vehicle, tow truck, utility vehicle, or any vehicle with hazard lights, flares or cones, a driver on a road of at least 4 lanes moves into a lane not next to it if that is safe. Where it is not, the driver slows to a safe speed at least 20 miles per hour below a posted limit of 50 or above.

Striking an emergency responder and causing physical injury while failing to move over or slow down is a class F felony.
