The Light That Is Changing
Fla. Stat. 316.075 — the yellow warns that a red will follow when traffic shall not enter, and a turn on red after stopping
The yellow is a warning. Traffic facing a steady yellow signal is warned that the related green movement is being terminated, or that a red indication will be exhibited immediately after, when traffic shall not enter the intersection.
Red, then a right turn. Traffic facing a steady red signal stops before the crosswalk on the near side or, if none, before the intersection, and remains standing until a green is shown. A driver stopped at the stop line, the crosswalk, or the point nearest the cross street with a view of approaching traffic may then turn right, yielding to pedestrians and other traffic, unless the municipality or county has posted a sign prohibiting it.
Left on red. A driver on a one way street that meets another one way street on which traffic moves to the left stops on the red and may then turn left into it, yielding to pedestrians and other traffic, unless a sign attached to the signal prohibits it.
