Helping At The Scene
Idaho Code § 5-330 — no damages for first aid given in good faith and without pay, short of gross negligence
Good faith, without pay. No civil damages may be recovered from a person who, in good faith and without pay, stops at an accident or emergency, including a mental health or suicidal crisis, and gives emergency first aid, medical attention or psychological attention, unless shown to be grossly negligent.
The protection ends when the injured person is delivered to a hospital, into a provider's care at an office or facility, or to an ambulance attendant.
