A Dog Bite
Iowa Code § 351.28 — the owner is liable for all damages when the dog attacks or tries to bite
The owner of a dog is liable to the injured party for all damages the dog does when it is attacking or attempting to bite a person, or is caught worrying, maiming or killing a domestic animal.
The owner is not liable when the injured party was doing an unlawful act that directly contributed to the injury.
