Stage 1 · What the statutes set next
A written request for an administrative hearing is mailed and postmarked 14 days after service of the notice, or faxed and received within 14 days.
Stage 2 · Later in the statutes
With a timely request and the hearing fee paid, a temporary license stays in effect until the 30th day after the decision.
Stage 3 · Later in the statutes
A petition for review of the order is filed within 14 days after its effective date, in the county of the arrest or the crash.
Stage 4 · Later in the statutes
On a first failed test, driving privileges are suspended for 30 days.
