Public Intoxication
KRS 222.202 — drunk in public to the point of danger or annoyance, and drinking in a public place
- Alcohol intoxication is appearing in a public place so plainly under the influence of alcohol that the person may endanger themselves, others or property, or unreasonably annoys people nearby.
- Drinking in a public place, or on a passenger coach or other passenger vehicle, or in a depot or waiting room, is a separate offense.
A first or second offense is a fine of at least $25. A third or later within twelve months is a fine of $25 to $100, jail of five to ninety days, or both.
