The light requirement does not reach the windows behind the driver on trucks, buses, motor homes and multipurpose passenger vehicles. Each installer leaves a small label with its name and city in the lower right corner of the driver's side window.
Driving a car registered in Louisiana in violation carries a fine of not more than $150 for a first offense, $250 for a second, and $350 for a third or later.
