Carrying the permit. A permit holder carrying a concealed handgun has the permit on them and shows it on an officer's demand. Not having it is a civil violation with a fine of up to $100, and none is adjudged for one who brings to court a permit that was valid at the time.
The issuing authority revokes a permit for a material misstatement in the application, a conviction for carrying in violation of the law, losing eligibility, or a later conviction for operating under the influence while in possession of a loaded firearm.
