Reckless Driving
G.L. c. 90, § 24 — recklessly, or negligently so as to endanger the public
In Massachusetts, operating a motor vehicle recklessly, or negligently so that the lives or safety of the public might be endangered, or in a race or on a bet, is punished by a fine of twenty to two hundred dollars, jail from two weeks to two years, or both.
A phone violation that causes harm. So is causing injury to a person, vehicle or property by driving negligently while violating the phone rules for drivers, where that violation is proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
