MCL 28.725 — not more than 3 business days after a change of residence
3 business days. A registered resident reports in person, or in another manner the department prescribes, to the registering authority where the residence is located not more than 3 business days after changing or vacating the residence, changing or ending employment, enrolling in or leaving higher education, or changing name.
Other changes. Changes in vehicle information, email addresses, internet identifiers or telephone numbers, and the other changes the section lists, are reported in the manner the department prescribes within the same 3 business days.
