Disturbing The Peace
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-1322 — intentionally disturbing a person, a family or a neighborhood, a Class III misdemeanor
Intentionally. Any person who intentionally disturbs the peace and quiet of any person, family or neighborhood commits the offense of disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor.
A Class III misdemeanor carries up to three months' imprisonment, a fine of up to five hundred dollars, or both.
Speech alone is protected unless it falls into a category the First Amendment does not cover, such as true threats or fighting words. A particular charge is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
