A tenant who stays without consent after the term ends may be sued for possession, and if the holdover is willful and not in good faith, for up to three months' rent or three times the actual damages, whichever is greater, and attorney's fees.

A fixed term lease ends on its own terms. A particular notice is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
