NRS 597.630 — four repairs or 30 days out of service in the first year, then a replacement or a refund
If a new motor vehicle does not conform to the manufacturer's express warranties and the buyer reports the problem in writing to the manufacturer before the warranty expires, or no later than 1 year after delivery to the original buyer, whichever is earlier, the manufacturer or its dealer makes the repairs, even if they happen after that time.
When the repairs do not work. If, after a reasonable number of attempts, the defect is not fixed and it substantially impairs the vehicle's use and value, the manufacturer either replaces the vehicle with a comparable one or takes it back and refunds the full price, including taxes and fees, less a reasonable allowance for use before the first report.

It covers a vehicle bought for personal, family or household use, not for resale, and anyone it is transferred to during the warranty. Motor homes and off-road vehicles are left out. A defect caused by abuse, neglect or unauthorized changes does not count.
