NRS 73.010 — money only, up to $10,000, in the justice court
A justice of the peace hears small claims cases for the recovery of money only, where the amount claimed does not exceed $10,000.
- The township where the defendant lives, does business or works
- For an injury to a person or property, also the township where it happened
- For a contract to be performed at a particular place, also the township where it was to be performed
