N.J.S.A. 56:8-19 — threefold damages, plus attorneys' fees

In New Jersey, it is an unlawful practice to use any unconscionable or abusive commercial practice, deception, fraud, false pretense, false promise or misrepresentation, or to knowingly conceal or omit a material fact meaning others to rely on it, in selling or advertising merchandise or real estate, whether or not anyone was actually misled.

Threefold damages. A person who suffers an ascertainable loss of money or property from an unlawful practice may sue, and the court awards threefold the damages sustained, plus reasonable attorneys' fees, filing fees and costs of suit.
