N.D.C.C. § 12.1-17-07.2 — sharing an intimate image without consent, causing distress, is a class A misdemeanor
Knowingly or intentionally distributing an intimate image of someone to a third party is a class A misdemeanor when all three are true:
- The person knows the individual shown did not consent to the distribution.
- The image was made or shared in circumstances carrying a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- The distribution caused the individual actual emotional distress or harm.
