Under 21 With Alcohol
ORS 471.430 — a Class B violation, a Class A one in a car, and no fine at all under 18
A person under 21 may not try to buy, buy or acquire alcohol, or have it in personal possession, which includes accepting or drinking any of it. The exception is a minor in a private residence with a parent or guardian who consents. Sacramental wine in a religious service is not covered.

On a violation of the purchase and possession rule, the court orders the person's driving privileges suspended, and may recommend a hardship permit. Misrepresenting age can also bring community service.
