Public Intoxication
ORS 430.402 — no city or county may make being drunk or high in public an offense
Not a local offense. No political subdivision in Oregon may make public intoxication, public drinking where drinking is not generally prohibited, drunk and disorderly conduct, or being under the influence of cannabis or controlled substances an offense, a violation, or the subject of any penalty.
Local laws against driving under the influence, and similar offenses involving operating a vehicle, are not affected.
