Minimum Wage
Minimum Wage Act 4 — $7.15 in the act, rising with the federal minimum
The Pennsylvania act's own schedule ends at $7.15 an hour beginning July 1, 2007.
It follows the federal rate up. When the federal Fair Labor Standards Act minimum is raised above the act's, the Pennsylvania minimum rises by the same amount on the same date, and the act's own figures are suspended to the extent they differ.
The secretary may allow lower wages for learners and students under special certificates, not less than eighty-five percent of the otherwise applicable minimum.
