Who May Register to Vote
17 V.S.A. § 2121 — a citizen and resident who has taken the voter's oath and is 18 on election day
- A person may register in the town where they live if, on election day, they are a United States citizen, a resident of Vermont, have taken the voter's oath, and are 18 or older.
- Someone who will be 18 on or before a general election may register and vote in the primary just before it.
