RCW 46.61.500 — willful or wanton disregard, a gross misdemeanor, and a 30 day suspension
In Washington, driving any vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is reckless driving, a gross misdemeanor punishable by up to three hundred sixty-four days in jail and a fine of up to five thousand dollars.
The department suspends the license for not less than thirty days on a conviction, with day-for-day credit for time already served on an administrative suspension where the charge was first filed as DUI. The section read here is in force until January 1, 2029.
