Voting After A Felony

W. Va. Code § 3-2-2 — no registering while serving the sentence, including probation and parole

During the sentence. A person convicted of a felony, or of treason or bribery in an election, may not register or stay registered while serving the sentence, including any incarceration, probation or parole.

The disqualification is tied to the sentence, so once it is served, the person may register like any other qualified voter.
