Wis. Stat. 709.02 — the condition report within 10 days, and 2 business days to rescind

In Wisconsin, the owner furnishes the prospective buyer a completed real estate condition report not later than 10 days after acceptance of the contract of sale or option contract. A report is complete only if every item is answered.

No rescission for what the buyer knew. A buyer who received a complete report before making the offer, or who knew of the defect when the offer was made, may not rescind on that basis. Rescission is the only remedy under the chapter.

Waiver. A buyer may waive the right to rescind in writing, and proceeding to closing ends it.
