Disorderly Conduct
A.R.S. 13-2904 — six acts, done to disturb the peace or knowing they will
In Arizona, disorderly conduct takes intent to disturb the peace or quiet of a neighborhood, family or person, or knowledge of doing so, together with one of these acts:
- Fighting, or violent or seriously disruptive behavior.
- Unreasonable noise.
- Abusive or offensive language or gestures to someone present, in a manner likely to provoke immediate physical retaliation.
- A protracted commotion, utterance or display meant to prevent a lawful meeting, gathering or procession from going on.
- Refusing a lawful order to disperse near a fire, hazard or other emergency.
- Recklessly handling, displaying or discharging a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
The weapon makes it a felony. Disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument is a class 6 felony. Each of the other five is a class 1 misdemeanor.
