The Registration Calendar
A.R.S. 13-3822 — within seventy-two hours, not counting weekends and legal holidays, in person and in writing
Seventy-two hours. Within seventy-two hours, excluding weekends and legal holidays, after moving to or from a residence or to a different county, or changing name or address, a person required to register informs the sheriff in person and in writing of the new residence, whether it is temporary or permanent, and the address or new name.
Several residences, or none. A person with more than one residence registers each in person and in writing not less than every ninety days, and a person without an address registers as a transient not less than every ninety days with the sheriff where physically present.
Who must register, for how long, and the penalty for failing to report are set out in other parts of the law that are not on this page. Whether a deadline applies to a particular person is a question for a licensed Arizona attorney.
