Fla. Stat. 943.0435 — in person within 48 hours of a change of residence, and 48 hours before leaving the state
Within 48 hours. A sexual offender reports any change in permanent, temporary or transient residence, or a change of name by marriage or other legal process, in person to the sheriff's office within 48 hours after the change.
Leaving the state. A sexual offender who intends to establish a residence in another state reports in person to the sheriff of the county of current residence at least 48 hours before leaving, or at least 21 days before travelling outside the United States.
Vacating without a new residence. A sexual offender who vacates a residence without establishing another reports within 48 hours after vacating, and reports a transient residence within 48 hours after establishing it.
