Notice To End A Tenancy

Idaho Code § 55-208 — one month's written notice either way for a tenancy at will

One month, in writing. A tenancy at will, however created, may be ended by the landlord's written notice to remove from the premises within a period of not less than one month, or by the tenant's written notice of a vacating date not less than one month away.

A lease for a fixed term ends on its own terms. The landlord's notice is served the way the code of civil procedure prescribes. A particular notice is a question for a licensed Idaho attorney.
