An electric assisted bicycle has working pedals and a motor of less than seven hundred fifty watts. Its rider has all the rights and duties of a bicycle rider.

No license, no plate. No driver's license, title, registration, plate or insurance is required for an electric assisted bicycle or its rider.

It may be ridden wherever bicycles may travel, multiuse paths included, unless a local ordinance or posted sign excludes it.

A rider's violation of the bicycle rules is an infraction.
