Horses and Buggies on the Road
Idaho Code § 49-609 — a rider or a wagon driver has a driver's rights and duties
Every person riding an animal or driving an animal drawn vehicle on a highway has all the rights and duties of the driver of a vehicle under the motor vehicle title, except those provisions that by their very nature can have no application.
Who handles this in Idaho: legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Idaho directory.
Which lamps a wagon carries at night, and whether the impaired driving law reaches a rider, are not settled by this section. A particular ticket is a question for a licensed Idaho attorney.
