A suspension notice the bureau mails first class to the last address in its records, or sends electronically to someone who chose electronic notices, raises a rebuttable presumption that the driver knew of the suspension.
Where a suspended driver's driving hurts or kills more than one person, each person injured or killed is a separate offense, and the court may run the prison terms one after another.
