- A notice of pending gas or electric disconnection includes a written statement that the customer may be eligible for energy assistance or weatherization, with the local agency's address and telephone number.
- The statement also says the customer may contact the utility to settle a complaint, and may file a complaint that is not settled with the commission.
- Service is not disconnected to a residence where a head of household is a service member deployed for military service, until ninety days after the deployment ends, if the utility is told of the deployment.
