Notice to End a Tenancy

Iowa Code § 562A.34 — 30 days before the rental date for a month to month tenancy, ten for week to week

Either side may give the notice. A tenant who stays without consent after the end may be sued for possession, and for damages and attorney fees when the holdover is willful and not in good faith.
