Driving Without a License

KRS 186.620 — no driving while a license is denied, suspended or revoked, or never applied for

  • Before driving a motor vehicle, motorcycle or moped on a highway, a person not exempted secures an operator's license.
  • No one drives on the highways while a license is denied, canceled, suspended or revoked, or without having applied for one.
  • No one authorizes or knowingly permits a vehicle the person owns or controls to be driven by someone with no legal right to drive it.
