Housing Discrimination
Minn. Stat. 363A.09 — no refusing to sell or rent because of a protected status, public assistance included
Protected in housing. An owner, landlord or agent may not refuse to sell, rent or lease real property, or discriminate in its terms, conditions, facilities or services, because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, disability, sexual orientation or familial status.
Advertisements, signs and application forms that express a preference or limitation on those grounds are also prohibited. Reasonable rules to protect the safety of minors using the property are allowed.
