The Last Hundred Feet
Minn. Stat. 169.19 — a turn signal given continuously during not less than the last 100 feet, except leaving a roundabout
The last 100 feet. A signal of intention to turn right or left is given continuously during not less than the last 100 feet traveled before turning. A person whose vehicle is exiting a roundabout is exempt.
Stopping. No person stops or suddenly decreases speed without first signaling to the driver immediately behind, unless there is a good and sufficient reason for not being able to.

By lamp or device. Signals may be given by hand and arm or by an approved signal lamp or device, and must be by lamp or device where the vehicle's construction or load would keep a hand signal from being visible.
