Three more. The same applies to a person who is a fugitive from justice, is habitually in an intoxicated or drugged condition, or is currently adjudged mentally incompetent.

The class. Unlawful possession of a firearm is a class C felony, and a class B felony for a person convicted of a dangerous felony or with a prior conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Antique firearms. The felony conviction rule does not apply to the possession of an antique firearm.

Federal law keeps its own list of prohibited persons, which applies alongside the state's and is not on this page. Whether a particular conviction, order or commitment brings a person within the section, and whether rights can be restored, are questions for a licensed Missouri attorney.
