A second conviction. Third degree domestic assault with one previous conviction under the section is a Class IIIA felony, and with two or more, a Class IIA felony.

An intimate partner is a spouse or former spouse, a person with whom one has a child in common, or a person in a current or past dating relationship.

A dating relationship does not include a casual relationship or an ordinary business or social one. A particular charge is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
