Passing A School Bus
NRS 484B.353 — stop for the flashing red lights from either direction, a fine of $250 to $500 the first time
A driver meeting or overtaking a school bus from either direction that has stopped for pupils and is showing a flashing red light has to stop immediately and stay stopped until the flashing red signal stops.

A driver on a divided highway need not stop for a bus on the other roadway, nor where a traffic officer is directing traffic. A citation can also come from a camera system on the bus.
