Turning Eighteen
NRS 129.010 — of lawful age, and able to contract, at 18
18. Every person 18 years of age who is under no legal disability, and every person declared emancipated under the emancipation sections, is capable of entering into any contract and is, to all intents and purposes, held and considered to be of lawful age in Nevada.
The section does not move other age limits the statutes set for particular things, such as alcohol, which run under their own sections.
Emancipation before 18, and a minor's own consent to particular medical services, are in other sections of the chapter and are not reproduced here. Whether a contract made by a minor binds anyone is a question for a court and a licensed Nevada attorney.
