NRS 176.0643 — public assistance, public housing or income under 200 percent of poverty means presumed unable to pay a traffic fine

A person who commits a minor traffic offense is presumed to be indigent and unable to pay a fine, administrative assessment or fee under the sentencing chapter if they receive public assistance, live in public housing, or have a household income of less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
