N.D.C.C. § 39-21-41.4 — every occupant of a vehicle built for fewer than eleven passengers wears a fastened belt

A driver may not drive a motor vehicle built for fewer than eleven passengers, made with safety belts, unless each occupant wears a properly adjusted and fastened belt.

  • Rural mail carriers on duty, farm equipment drivers, and occupants with a written medical exemption are excepted.
