Signals and Turns
N.D.C.C. § 39-10-38 — a turn or lane change is signaled continuously for at least the last 100 feet
- No turn, move right or left, or merge happens unless it can be made with reasonable safety and with the proper signal.
- The signal is given continuously for at least the last 100 feet before turning or changing lanes.
- A driver signals before stopping or suddenly slowing, when there is a chance to.
- Turn signals are not flashed as a courtesy or a go-ahead to drivers behind.
